History
The history of the lodge started at the Rio de La Plata viceroyalty when the king of Spain relented this lands to one of his generals. In the mid-nineteenth century the lands were acquired by an aristocratic Buenos Aires family that decided to buy one lodge to each of their four daughters. Santa Adela is one of those.
The main hull stayed in the family for many years until it passed into the hands of people of the zone and then to us, encharged of remodeling it to fit to the actual comfort but preserving its original construction. Nowadays Santa Adela opens its doors to the public so everyone can enjoy the charms that surround it: old growth forests with exotic trees and native mountains that complete the local flora landscape.
This creates an ideal environment not only to enjoy nature but also to develop outdoors activities in a wild beauty. Besides being a luxury lodge with gourmet kitchen and first level services, the main attraction of this place is the possibility of achieve the following activities: cavalcades, hunting, fishing, cycling, among many others.
Santa Adela is strategically located, 7km from San José Palace -principal touristic attraction of Entre Rios Province- as well very close to Villa Elisa springs, Concepción del Uruguay, Colón, Paysandú (ROU) and to the National Park El Palmar. Besides, its reasonably close to Gualeguaychú City.
It´s very important to know that the lodge counts with a multiple use space prepared to realize business meetings, weddings and celebrations of all kinds. This is why Santa Adela is an ideal place to enjoy a rural environment at the same time of social and business events.
